Nicole this site is awesome, I'm man enough to say it brought me to tears.  I miss you and Charles so much.  I'm sorry I haven't been around to be a  friend during these past five years, but i know you are doing great and I am so happy for you. I'm always here if you need anything.

May God continue to bless the Short family. I went to high school with Charles and he was a good guy. Its hard to accept that the good die young, but I know God is in control. One day we will all see him again, until then he is an angel of comfort and peace for his family and friends. My prayers are with Nicole and Austin and I pray that God keep them strong.

Aw honey this website is out of this world. You made so many memories and the videos are things that Austin can look at over and over again. Your love was so strong for one another. You have been so strong these last 3 years. You are an awesome mom and friend- DON'T EVER LET NEONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE! You have experienced things that you didn't think you would at such a young age and have been doing a wonderful job with Austin. I'm so glad that you have a part of Charles to watch grow and love. My thoughts are with you especially today. If you need me, feel free to call. I remember it like yesterday when you guys started dating. I love you and miss you!

I did not personnally know Charles, but in working with you and the other members of the family, I can tell that he was, and is, loved. Our sincerest thoughts and prayers continue to go out to you all.

I have known you for awhile and have gotten to know you better after this great loss. I just want you to know how much I admire your strength as a person and as a mother. Austin is so blessed to have you as his mother. Deep down you know Charles is in a better place so that should help soothe your heart. Hang in there girl, good things are coming your way, you are such a great person that you only deserve the best. If you ever need anything you know how to reach me. I am truly sorry for one of the biggest voids you will ever feel.  I've never met Charles, but I feel as though I have, through all the beautiful memories shared.  The tremendous legacy left by a life fully lived is so AWESOME! 

 

May God continue to keep him alive through your love, your memories, your deeds and last but not least Austin.  He is truly a blessing.
